Lessie Deshaun Johnson

Mt. Olive - Ms. Lessie Deshaun Johnson, 40 departed this earthly life on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at home.

"Fruitsy" as she was affectionally called by family and friends, is the daughter of Gertha Ann Johnson and the late Alphonso Simmons.  She was born in Wayne County on November 7, 1982.

She leaves to cherish loving memories to her son, Keyonis Johnson; mother, Gertha Johnson; one granddaughter, Tania Jana'e Frederick; grandmother; Helen Dobson; grandpa, Randy West; two sisters, Latisha Johnson and Shanea Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In addition to her father, our social butterfly has been reunited with her brother, Kendrick Johnson and will be greatly missed.
