Mt. Olive - Mrs. Linda Faye McDuffie, peacefully made her transition to eternity Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Willie Stevens Jr. and Dororthy Kenon Stevens and wife of the late Robert Earl McDuffie.
She leaves to cherish her love and legacy to her daughters, Gloria (Fred) Martin of Mt. Olive, Arletha Cummings of the home and Wanda Rucker (Meaco) of Salisbury; four sisters, Jeanette (Raymond) Phillips of Mt. Olive, Gloria Branch of LaGrange, Mary Denning of Mt. Olive and Barbara (Tommy) Pruitt of Kenly; nine grandchildren, one special granddaughter, Ashley Freeman; twenty great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she has been reunited with her sister, Ina Garner and brother-in-law, David Denning.
