Goldsboro - Lloyd Branch, Jr. closed the curtains of this world and entered into his heavenly home on January 16, 2024 in Chapel Hill, NC, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Duplin Co, he is the son of the late LLoyd Branch Sr. and Lola Miller Branch.
Because he was a man of faith, he was a loyal and dedicated member of Salem Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Pink Hill, NC. Here, he served as an usher and other capacities where needed.
After graduating from Carver High School, he proudly served his country and retired from the U.S. AirForce with 20 years of service. He also worked and retired from Cherry Hospital.
Lloyd Jr. was a kind and loyal family man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish loving memories to his children, Gwendolyn F. Johnson (Illey) of Chapel Hill, Lloyd Kelvin Branch of Mt. Olive and Delores E. Jones of Grifton; five grandchildren, Abriana S. Johnson, Bryce I. Johnson, Andre M. Brinson, Alexis C. Jones and Kelsey R. Jones-Whitaker (Brandon); nine great grandchildren; brother, Benjamin F.
