Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Jim and Lou Bertha Teachey.

Her love and legacy will be cherished by her husband, David Ingram of the home; step-son, Jonathan Ingram of Goldsboro; granddaughter, Alecia Frederick of Virginia Beach, VA; one great-grandson, Daniel Nesmith of Virgina Beach, VA; s; one sister, Lorraine Parks of Goldsboro; sisters-in-law, Linda Ashford, Marilyn Ashford Brown, Judy Ashford and Geraldine Ashford; brothers-in-law, Charles Ashford, Frankie Ashford and Kenneth Ashford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
