Mt. Olive - Mr. Luther Perkins, 74 entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro.

He is the son of the late Vance Perkins Jr. and the late Isabell Lofton Perkins and was born in Wayne County.

He leaves to cherish his love and legacy to his wife, Shirley Wells Perkins of the home; stepson, Kenneth Miller of Mt, Olive; one brother, Carl Perkins of Dudley; one aunt, Emma Lofton of Goldsboro; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends,
