Mallie Barksdale

Faison - Mrs. Mallie Barksdale, 95, was born on August 1, 1930, in Sampson County to the late Marion Aycock, Sr and Candis Barksdale Aycock.  She went from earth to glory surrounded in love by her family on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at her home.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories five children, Evelyn Flanagan (Patrick) of Faison NC, Julia Williams (Ronald) of Clinton, NC, Cedric Barksdale (Gloria) of Raleigh NC., Larry Barksdale (Ernestine) of Faison, NC. and Frances Barksdale of the home; a special nephew, Jeffrey Aycock of Warsaw NC; one sister and brother Clara Little of Warsaw, NC, and Bishop Chester Aycock (Tina) of Wilson, NC; four daughters-in-law, Pearline Barksdale od Warsaw, NC, Zelda Hill of Baltimore, MD, Delores Smith of Richmond, VA and Maria Jagger of Rose Hill, NC; nineteen grandchildren; two of whom she raised, Tamesha Herring and Shameka Goodman; twenty-seven great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; a special cousin, Elder Doretha Faison; a special friend, Delores Hodges and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
