Mary (Brown) Chasten

Mt. Olive - Mrs. Mary B. Chasten, 96 departed this life for life everlasting on Friday, August 2, 2024 at her home.

Born in Bladen Co., she is the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison Brown and Mamie Pharr Brown and wife of the late Atmos C. Chasten.

Her vibrant spirit touched the lives of many and may her legacy inspire each of us to live each day with purpose, passion and gratitude for the gift of life.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her love and legacy will be forever cherished by her children, Benjamin Chasten (Georginna) of Dudley, Teressa "Bobette" Chasten Fields (Randall) of Dudley, Shari Chasten Miller (Keith) of Mt. Olive and Carl P. Chasten (Sonya) of Douglasville, GA; seven grandchildren, ToTron Chasten, Joshulyn Johnson, Terran Fields, Breyon Johnson, Sinclair "Tony" Fields, Chloe Fields and Carlae' Chasten; two great grandchildren, Jordyn Fields and Jalen Chasten and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
