Mary Magdalene Jones

Kenansville - Ms. Mary Jones, 90 transitioned Monday, September 30, 2019 at Vidant Duplin Hospital. 

Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Jones and Annie Moore Jones.

Mother Mary loved the Lord.  She trusted Him and taught her family to trust in God.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ella Mae Jones.

Fond memories will forever  lingers in the hearts of her children; sons, Larry D. Jones (Wanda),  Kenansville , NC, Michael F. Jones(Darlene), Hinesville GA., Anthony R. Jones (grandson, whom she reared in the home from the tender age of one), Jacksonville, FL;daughters, Minister Mary Bouyer (Levie), Shirley Jones, Patricia Jones Sloan, Genice J. Artis (Timothy), Cenquilla Jones (grand-daughter whom she reared in the home from the tender age of nine), all of Kenansville, NC; god-son, Robert Williams (Lori) of  Philadelphia, PA; sister in-law, Ali Mae Batts Jones, Greensboro, NC; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren; several extended grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews relative and friends.
