Mary Tann

Baltimore, MD - Mrs. Mary Tann, 93, was born on April 22, 1932, to the late Maryland Edwards, Sr. and Lillie Bell Edwards in Duplin County, North Carolina.  She transitioned from this life-to-life everlasting on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Family Touch Assisted Living Facility in Baltimore, Maryland.

She received her formal education in the Duplin County public school system.  She joined Hills Chapel Baptist Church.  In May 1961, Mary was united in holy matrimony to the late Hezekiah Tann.  They had two children.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt cousin and friend.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her daughters, Diana Tann and Anita Tann of Baltimore, Maryland. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who have become family.

A time of viewing and reflection will be held from 10:00 a.m.-1;00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025, at Garris Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. in Cobbs Cemetery, Faison.
