Faison - Mrs. Maxine Kelly Stevens, 78 of 1234 Grimes Rd. transitioned from earth to glory Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Johnston UNC Health Care.
She was born on Thursday, February 5, 1942 in Duplin County to the late Robert Kelly and Katherine Swinson Kelly.
At an early age she joined Goshen Disciples Church of Suttontown, where she was a faithful and dedicated member of the Usher's Ministries and kitchen until her health declined. She also served on the Mother Board.
She leaves to cherish her memories, Children - Moses Frederick Stevens (Kaia) of Baltimore, Maryland, Ellen Rose Parker (Willie) Reidsville, Barbara Jean Stevens of Wilmington, Eddie Lee Stevens of Kernersville, Terence Stevens (Cheryl) of Greensboro and Melissa Stevens of Durham; nine grandchildren, Yolanda Kiante Bell of Charlotte, Melinda Tiffany Bell of Hawaii, Moses Jeremiah Stevens (Latisha) of Oklahoma, Briana Shante Stevens of Maryland, Isaac Alexander Stevens of Baltimore, MD, Boston Stevens of Kernersville, William Stevens of Kernersville, Grant Stevens of Greensboro, and Sophia Stevens of Greensboro; four great-grandchildren, Kalib Crawford of Hawaii, Uzziah Paris McDonald of Maryland, Adrian Jackson of Oklahoma and Lindsey Michia Stevens of Maryland; three sisters, Magdalene Gibson of Virginia, Wendy Kelly of Seattle, Washington and Miriam Cooper of Beulaville; three brothers, Roosevelt Kelly (Brenda) of Faison, Bobby Kelly of Haw River and Billy Kelly of Suttontown.
