Mural Vann Obituary
Mt. Olive - Prophetess Mural Vann, 67 boarded the gospel ship Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Wayne Co., she is the daughter of the late Isaac Vann Jr. and Emma Stevens Vann.
She was a loyal and dedicated member of Bible Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Goldsboro and touched the lives of many students that she encountered at Carver Elementary School.
Cherished and loving memories will remain in the hearts of her sisters, Shirley Edwards, Cottie Faison and Vivian Ammons of Mt. Olive and Frances (Donald) Vann Jackson of New Jersey; a son that she raised as her own Shawn (Tomika) McCalop; spiritual daughter, Shelia (Bobby) Lawson; a special nephew, Donnell (Iris) McCalop and a host of nieces, other nephews, relatives and friends.
