Obituary
Washington, DC - Nathaniel Jones affectionally known as "Sam " to his friends and " Punky" to his family was born on September 9, 1971, in Duplin County. He departed his life on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Sam attended and graduated from James Kenan High School. He attended and graduated from Shaw University and NC State University before moving to Florida then Washington, DC. He was a huge fan of Janet Jackson and attended all the concerts that he could. But most of all, Sam loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Jones.
Sam leaves to cherish precious memories to his loving mother, Betty Frazelle of Kenansville. His devoted sister, Beverly Jones of Kenansville and two nieces that he adored with all of his heart, Zania Jones of Winston Salem and Mahlia Smith of Kenansville. Sam also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends,
