Mt. Olive - Mrs. Nerlene Williams, 89 put her hand in the Master's hand, Sunday, August 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Wayne Co., she is the daughter of Sameul Williams and Nora Faison Williams.
Realizing the need for Christ in her life, she was a member of Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the usher board until her health declined. Not only did she serve in her church but was loyal to her family and those who needed her assistance.
She leaves to cherish loving memories to her husband, Arthur Williams of the home; two children, Gail (Michael) Faire of Goldsboro and Danny (Debra) McLean of Mt. Olive; eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, eight great - great grandchildren including Kareen "Tub" whom she reared and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her sons, Larry Williams and Ronald McLean.
