Nettie Lucille Tate

Dudley - Mrs. Nettie Lucille Tate, 73 of 801 Ruskin Rd. transitioned Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Wayne UNC Hospital.

Born in Cumberland Co., she is the daughter of the late Lenzie Paul Williams and Joyce Dawson Williams.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her husband, Earnest Tate of the home; children, Donnie Tate of Goldsboro, David Tate (Tonia) of Charlotte, Felecia Bonner (Gregory), Earnest Ray Tate and Jonathan Tate all of Dudley; step-daughter, Sarena Bamhill-Wilson of Norwich, CT; siblings, Shelia Johnson of Dallas, GA, Priscilla Lewis of Lithia Springs, GA, Leslie Bass (James) of Pine Bluff, AR, Bettie Bass of Fayetteville and Lenzie Paul Williams Jr. (Deloris) of Papillion, NE; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her grandson, Daniel Croom and siblings, Pauline Jackson and Donnie Williams.
