Mt. Olive - Mr. O'Neal Branch Jr., 62 slipped into eternal rest Thursday, June 29, 2023.
He was born in Duplin County to parents, O'Neal Branch Sr. and the late Swannie Bell Branch.
He was an avid sports fan and loved watching sports on television. In addition to loving sports, O'Neal had a passion for big trucks. After high school, he started his career as truck driver and worked for several local logging companies. He was also known for his many years helping to run the family restaurant, Branch's Barbeque.
O'Neal was preceded in death by his late wife, Peggy Branch; mother, Swannie Bell Branch; stepfather, John Branch Jr.; brother, Anthony Bowden and stepbrothers, John Branch Jr. and Daniel Webster Branch.
He leaves to treasure his memories to his son, Christopher Branch; father, O'Neal Branch Sr.; stepdaughter, Danielle Ammons Holmes; brothers, Glenn Branch (Dawn), Gary Jones and O'Neil Branch; stepbrother, David William Branch (Cathy); sister, Sonya Branch-Purnell (Phillip); stepsister, Patricia B. Nettles (Jeffery); granddaughter, J'Tevyah Branch and a host of other relatives and friends.
