Kenansville - Ms. Pearlene Williams, 85 laid down the cares of this world Sunday, February 13, 2022 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.
She is the daughter of Rallie and Marie Marshall Williams and was born in Duplin County.
After graduating from EE Smith High School in 1956, she relocated to Brooklyn, NY. She returned to her roots to take care of her mother and made Duplin County her home.
Service by the Graveside will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Hallsville Baptist Church Cemetery, Beulaville.
Her love and legacy will be cherished by her sisters, Sarah Williams of Warsaw, Carolyn Williams of Kenansville and Judy Waters (Luby) of Kenansville; brother, William David "Bo" Williams (Betty) of Brooklyn, NY. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including her best friend, Janie James of Warsaw.
