Born in Duplin Co., he is the son of the late Arthur McLean and Cummie Quinn McLean.
In addition to his parents, he has been reunited with his siblings, Sula Smith, Dora Hodges, Thomas Pettiford, Luis McLean, Lucy McLean and Betty March.
He leaves to cherish loving memories to his children, Teresa McLean of Kenansville, Tobias (Carrie) McLean of Raleigh, Rounchey M. Edmondson of Chesterfield VA. and Dee-Dee Harvey-Duncan (Carlos) of Goldsboro; sister, Prozora McLean of Connecticut; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
