Raffie Antonio Walker

Raffie Antonio Walker was born, the first of four children, on September 28, 1962, to Wyoma and the late Louis Vernon Walker, in Goldsboro, NC.  Raffie was raised and educated in Springfield, MA where he resided for 57 years. He graduated from Putnam High School and began his career at W.F. Young.  Raffie attended Celestial Praise Church of God where he was a devoted member until he became ill.

Raffie enjoyed spending his spare time fishing and with his grandchild Jeremiah. He passed away July 28th, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.  He leaves his mother, Wyoma Walker and two brothers, Aloysius ( Sarah) of Corinth, MS and Louis (Rosalee) of Springfield, MA as well as a sister, Fran Gittens (Richard) of Dolyestown, PA.

He left behind three sons, Raffie Jr., Andrew and Anthony as well as one grandchild.  He also leaves behind three nephews, Louis III, Anthony and Aloysius Jr., a very special neighbor Jose Torres and a host of relatives and friends to cherish his memory.
