Mt. Olive- Mr. Raiford Lee King, 80, of 305 E. Maple St., transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation of Goldsboro.
Born in Wayne Co., he is the son of the late Plonnie King.
He was a loyal member of Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of the trustee board, served as treasurer and sang in the church choir. He was also a retired employee of O'berry Center, Goldsboro.
Cherished and loving memories will linger in the hearts of his granddaughter, Tomika Robinson; great grandson, Chance Robinson; special friend, Emma B. Hamilton; sisters and brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his mother, he has been reunited with his wife, Barbara S. King and son, Lorenza King.
