Ralph J. Smith Sr.

Faison - Elder Ralph J. Smith Sr., 98 went from labor to reward on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at ECU Duplin Hospital, Kenansville.

Born in Sampson Co. he is the son of the late Livie Smith and the late Francis Artis Smith and husband of Rosie Bell Smith.

Elder Smith was a faithful and honorable and generations of the household of faith. He cared for his wife, his children, his parents, his in-laws, Ishom and Daisy, his five brothers and six sisters all whom have proceeded him in death. He was proceeded in death by one daughter, Cathy. He leaves to mourn his wife, Rosa, two sons, Ralph Jr. (Terri) and Willis (Angela), three daughters< Julie, Roslin, and Lee Etta. Five grandchildren, Tabitha, Ashley, Milton AJ, Domonique, and Andrew, 3 great grandchildren, Taylor, Tierney, and Lillian, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, adoptees to the third and fourth generations and then some, all members of the kingdom of God and all who had the assignment of his caregivers.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 9, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Juniper Community Center, 227 Juniper Rd. Faison, NC.
