Rebecca (Stokes) Darden

Goldsboro - Ms. Rebecca Darden, placed her hands in the Master's hand Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

Born in Baltimore, MD, she is the daughter of the late Rufus and Edna Stevens Stokes and wife of the late Linwood Darden.

Precious memories will linger in the hearts of her children, Shaunda Dugba (Prince) of Magnolia, Cheryl Darden of Goldsboro and Desmond "Trey" Darden of Stantonburg; two grandchildren; three siblings, Teresa Stokes of Warsaw, William Stokes of Kenansville and Linwood Stokes of Greenville; an uncle, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, July 20, 2023 and Friday, July 21, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the residence, 1470 Claridge Nursery Rd. Goldsboro, NC.
