Ruby Jean (Oates) Boseman

Goldsboro - Mrs. Ruby Jean Boseman, 85 answered the Master's call on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Wayne UNC Health Care.   On August 14, 1939, she was born to the late Robert Oates and the late Mattie Mae Oates Wolfe. 

A wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she loved reading the Bible, tending to her flowers, gardening, baking and cooking.

Precious memories will linger in the hearts of her children, Betty Oates (David) of Goldsboro, NC, Charles Boseman, Sr. (Jamesetta) of Riverdale, MD and Michael Boseman (Diane) of Dudley, NC; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; brother, Dr. Adam Keith Wolfe (Lorise) of Bowie, MD; three sisters, Nadine Oates and Evangelist Peggy Anderson of Elizabeth, NJ and Evangelist Joyce Davis of Baltimore, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

She has been reunited with her sons, Terry Oates and Bobby Boseman and siblings, Harry Oates, Gail Oates. Claudie Oates, Nathaniel Oates and Jannie Mae Wolfe.
