Ruth Harper

Mt. Olive - Mrs. Ruth Harper, 89 of 118 County Rd. went from labor to reward, Thursday, December 5, 2019 surrounded in love by her family at the home of her daughter in Durham.

Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Leonard Armwood and Margaret Hodges Armwood and wife of the late Wilden Harper Sr.

Cherished and loving memories will linger in the hearts of her children, Dr. Shirley H. Armstrong (David) of Durham, Wilden Harper Jr. (Jennie Lee) US Army Retired, of Lillington, Dr. Janice Harper of Durham and Jerry L Harper (Jennie Marie) Commissioner-At-Large (Town of Mt. Olive 2014-2016) of Mt. Olive; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
