Sadie Louise Raine

Mt. Olive - SFC Sadie L. Raine (Retired), 76 completed her earthly assignment on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at her home.

Born in Wayne Co., she is the daughter of the late McKeever McKnight and Frances Cooper McKnight

She proudly served her country in the United States Army. After her retirement and moving back to Mount Olive, she worked in the Wayne County Public School System.  She also devoted her time and talents to her church, Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her siblings, McKiveer McKnight Jr. of Capitol Heights, MD, Ivory Lee McKnight of Clinton, MD, Iwendolyn Gail Arnold of Mt. Olive and Nora L. Carlton of College Park, GA; a son that she loved as her own, Quentron Lanier of the home and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
