Samuel Washington Pearsall

Goldsboro - Mr. Samuel Washington Pearsall, 65 of 314 Myer Ave. finished his earthly race Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

"Rabbit" as he was affectionately called by family and friends is the son of the late Bennie Washington and Rubie Mae Pearsall.  He was born in Wayne County and attended Wayne County Public Schools.  He was a 1974 graduate of Southern Wayne High School.

He leaves to cherish loving memories to his children, LaTonya Ashford Harris (Daktari) of Dudley and Demarko Ashford of Dudley; three grandsons, DeQuarius Ashford, Eric Williams and Keyonte Williams; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Willie D. Pearsall (Mary) of Mt.Olive, Carrie Kornegay (Johnny) of Dudley, Nelson Carroll Pearsall (Mattie) of Dudley, Johnnie A. Pearsall of Richmond, VA and Curtis Pearsall (Shawnelle) of Maryland.  A host of  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

"Rabbit's" love of socializing with family and friends along with his laughter will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
