Saundra A Ward

Florida - Ms. Saundra Arlene Ward, 62 formally of Wayne Co., transitioned Saturday, April 24, 2021.

She was born Arlene Ward to the late Dorothy Ward Dames on September 1, 1958, later changing her name to Saundra.  She grew up in  the Smith Chapel Community and was raised in a family of Godliness and love. Saundra spent her entire life caring about and loving others until called home to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

She leaves behind and to carry on, her best friend, “Monkey Face”; six maternal aunts, Evelyn Lindrey of Baltimore, Arnette Cogdell, Dudley, Betty Peacock, all of Goldsboro, Vickie Waters (Eddie B), of  Dudley, ,Brenda Yaboroough (Clint), of  Burlington, Wanda Green (Willis), of Dudley; a special cousin, Denise of Baltimore; special and devoted cousins of D.C, Maryland, and N.C.; a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
