Durham - Mr. Sherwood Lemont McLamb, 55 answered the Master's call Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Morningside Assisted Living, Wilmington.
Born in Duplin Co., he is the son of Theodore C. McLamb and Mary Beamon McLamb.
He served his country and retired from the United States Army as well as the University of Chapel Hill.
Cherished and loving memories will linger in the hearts of his mother, Mary Beamon McLamb of Faison; two sisters, Denise Blue (Tony) of Wilmington and Renea Lewis (Thomas) of Faison; brother Darnell Crawford of Greensboro; aunts, Shirley Edwards of Goldsboro and Betsy Lesesne (Reginald) of Fayetteville; uncles, Joseph McLamb (Denise) of Clinton, Jimmie Faison of Fayetteville and Robert Faison of Clinton; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
