Sudie Blackmore

Virginia - Mrs. Sudie Blackmore, 70 formerly of Cumberland Co. finished her course Friday, April 21, 2023 at home.

Born in Sanford, NC, she is the daughter of Mrs. Della Patterson Simmons and the late Mr. Jasper Simmons

She was a member of Spirit of Faith Church in Alexandria, VA.  During her early years, she was a manager of Shoney's in Fayetteville, NC.  Her free time and weekends included doing what she loved; puzzles, shopping and watching Westerns.  Most of all, she loved taking trips and sightseeing.

Sudie is survived by her loving husband, Ronald G. Blackmore; children, Kimberly Ra'shai Blackmore and Gregory Ronald Blackmore; 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter; one brother, Jasper Simmons Jr. (Wilma) three sisters, Deborah Baldwin, Emily Petty (Leroy) and Jeannette Blackmore (Lawrence) and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her father, she has been reunited with her brother, Jackie Simmons.
