Born in Duplin Co., he is the son of Christine Royal Jones and the late Aldine Jones Sr.

He leaves to cherish loving memories to his wife, Ethel McKiver Jones; two sons, Timothy Jones (Tyvolia) of Smithfield and Clifton Jones (Felicia) of Greensboro; his mother, Mother Christine Jones of Mt. Olive; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Jones of Mt, Olive, Herman Jones of Dudley, Eddie Jones of Mt. Olive, Kenneth Jones of Dudley, Jimmy Carter (Shelia) of Goldsboro and Terry Pearsall (Vanessa) of Conway, SC; sisters, Edna Cromartie (Alton) of Seven Springs, Patricia Jones of Mt. Olive, Doris Jones of Mt. Olive and Rena Jones of Mt. Olive; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his father, he has been reunited with his siblings, Pearlie Mae Ammons, Emma Whitfield, O'Neal Jones and Aldine Jones Jr.
