Faison - Mr. Jimmy Truman Bell, 73 was born March 8, 1948 to the late Jim Henry and Elsie Bell. He departed this earthy life, June 20, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC
He worked various jobs at Cates Pickle Plant in Faison, NC and numbered as one of the first African American truck drivers at Cates. He joined Mose's Chapel Church at an early age and worked faithfully as president of the usher board until his death.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his daughter, Jimmy Carol Dunn; two brothers, J.C. Walters and Henry Clifton Bell.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories to his grandchildren, Shonda Bell of Dudley, NC, Matthew Dunn II of Greenville, NC; one brother, Rayford Bell of Goldsboro, NC; three sisters, Sally King of Mt.Olive, NC, Linda Smith of Faison, NC and Iris Bell of Philadelphia,PA; two special aunts, Janie Bell of Faison, NC and Beatie Blue of Goldsboro, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
