Fayetteville - Minister Vernice Batts, 59 5418 Sandstone Dr., went from labor to reward on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Fildo Batts Sr. and Vernettie Jarman Batts.
Vernice joined Powerful Praise Impact Ministries in Fayetteville where she was a dedicated and faithful member. She always had a smile on her face and never complained. The family could always count on her to do her part. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend.
Vernice leaves to cherish and celebrate her memories to her special pet Tinkerbella of the home; three sisters, Joyce Best (Floyd) of Warsaw, Mary Morris Morris (Shadrach) of Smyrna Beach, FL and Janie Miller (Marvin) of Pink Hill; four brothers, Randolph Batts (Virginia) of Turkey, Fildo Batts Jr. of Faison, Jessie Batts (Ida) of Faison, John Batts (Kathye) of Goldsboro and Pastor Leroy Batts (Elizabeth) of Garland; an aunt, Essie Jarman of Fayetteville, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her brother, Woodrow Batts and two sisters, Martha Lee White and Rosella Best.
