Vinetta (Peacock) Rogers

Goldsboro - Mrs. Vinetta P. Rogers, 95 of 709 S. Andrews Ave. peacefully made her transition to eternity Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Genesis HealthCare, Mt. Olive.

Born in Sampson Co., she is the daughter of the late Rudolph and Frances Blackmon Peacock.

For over 50 years, she was a member of Goshen Disciples Church of Christ, Faison and served faithfully on the mother board. Her days were filled with what she enjoyed; cooking for family, tending to her flowers or spending time with her pets.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her beloved nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she has been reunited with her sisters, Mary Magalene "Lena" Peacock, Mamie Elizabeth Peacock and Ophelia Peacock Smith; one niece, Ada Ruth Peacock Faison and two nephews, Donald Smith and Clayton Smith.
