William Artis Obituary

Warsaw - Mr. William A. Artis, 59 departed this earthly life Saturday, April 13, 2024 as a result of a car accident.

Born in Wayne Co., he is the son of Teresa Sykes Artis and the late William D. (Sonny) Artis.

He leaves to cherish loving memories to his children, Cristol Rouse of Durham, Laprell Lesane of Dunn, Anthony Lesane of Myrtle Beach, SC., Mesha Lesane of Durham, Victoria Sanders of Dunn, Caleb Sanders of Angier and William Lamar Artis of Dunn; mother, Teresa Sykes Artis of Portsmouth, VA; four grandchildren; siblings, Gary Artis of Portsmouth, VA., Diera Diggs of Williamsburg, VA, Travis Artis of Burlington, NJ, Akim Clark of Colonial Heights, VA; special friend, Catherine Powell of Warsaw, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
