Kenansville - Mother Willie Hazel Herring, 95 slipped into the arms of eternity Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern.
Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Charlie and Sarah Bryant Glaspie.
Mother Herring was a loyal and dedicated member of Rainbow Missionary Baptist Church.
Her love and legacy will be cherished by four generations that include her children, Pastor Dr. James Herring (Audrey) of New Bern, Ruby Mae Troublefield of Bowden, Hazel Lou Vann of Goldsboro, Dennis Ray Herring (Linda) of Princeton, Mary D. McKiver (Jessie) of Kenansville, Thomas Herring (JoAnn) of Goldsboro and Johnny Lewis Herring of Kenansville. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as a sister-in-law, Rose Bell Glaspie other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her husband, Dennis Herring; son, Charles Lee Herring and siblings.
