Willie James Newsome

Goldsboro - Mr. Willie James Newsome, 72 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

He is the son of the late Claudie Newsome and Ammie Parker Newsome and was born on July 14, 1951 in Sampson County.

His enjoyments included family gatherings, cook outs, music and he had a passion for fishing. 

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of his daughters, Angela Newsome Blackmore of Waycross, Willa Jean Jacobs (Detric) of Waycross and Yolanda Bell of Roseboro; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Newsome of Faison and Rosie Waters of Clinton; three brothers, Pastor Claudie Newsome (Deanna), Pastor Harry Newsome (Dorothy) both of Faison and Terry Newsome (Jennie) of Richmond Hill, GA; special friend, Helen Gonzales and a host of other relatives and friends,
