Zora Louise (Houston) Cooper

 Mrs. Zora Louise Cooper, 93 formally of Duplin Co., transitioned Wednesday, March 19, 2020 at her residence in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

She was born in Warsaw, NC.  She is the daughter of the late Herman Houston and Lou Bertha Williams Houston.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her children, Alvin Houston, Belleville, NJ, Ronald Cooper (Lois), Port Chester, NY, Carol Prince (John) Stone Mountain, GA, Janet Cooper, Port Chester, NY, Edwin Cooper (Sandra) Lawrenceville, GA, Roxanne Cooper, Greenwich, CT, Yvonne Williams(Julius) Lawrenceville, GA, Donald Cooper, Lawrenceville, GA, Jeffrey Cooper (Cecilia) Port Chester, NY, Dianne Muhammad (Garron), Huntsville, AL, Patricia Hines, Huntsville, AL and Joyce Hines, New York.  Her legacy continues with 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her son, Norwood Cooper and grandson, Demonie Cooper.

She loved and enjoyed celebrating with family, spending time reading her bible and traveling to visit family and friends. She also had a heart for giving and helping others.  These things, we her family shall miss!
